- Whimsical Crochet for Adults & Kids. I love putting a twist on traditional crochet. Right now I am creating some really yummy treats for my "Yummy Treats Collection". Food scarves are so much fun, but I have many more ideas that do not involve food for a scarf. I am also planing on creating some really fun crochet patterns for Children's clothing as well. I Love Yummy Treats! Don't You?
For the past 4 years I have been wanting to design fun whimsical crochet patterns. I looked high and low for something truly creative and fun to crochet and found nothing.
I started selling my crochet patterns when we were living in San Diego. It was so fun and I loved being able to share my designs with others.
Right before we moved to OR I had began to brain storm up ideas for some fun whimsical scarf patterns but was unable to bring them to fruition until recently.
I have a son with Fragile X Syndrome and I had been giving him the up most attention the past few years and I placed my love for designing on the back burner.
How I create my designs!
I sit down on my sofa to watch T.V. with my yarn, hooks, scissors, needle, pen, and note book to write the pattern down as I create my pattern. I do not print photos of anything and only work from my imagination to create my patterns. I am known to take apart whole crochet projects if I do not like the way it looks. I believe I took my cupcake scarf apart 5 times before coming up with something I truly loved.
My goal is to bring fun new designs in crochet to you.
